Dr.Nagisa Hiraoka

Dr.Nagisa Hiraoka (BVSc) is a fully qualified veterinary surgeon with a particular interest in complimentary therapies. Following graduation from the University of Sydney in 2009, Nagisa completed a Foundation course in Veterinary Herbal Medicine (UK). Nagisa is a member of the Veterinary Botanical Medicine Association (VBMA) and the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies. She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma of Veterinary Western Herbal Medicine at CIVT.

Your herbal medicine consultation with Nagisa includes
  • a full physical examination
  • a review of your pet’s medical history including any current medications and supplements
  • nutritional and lifestyle advice
Nagisa will then prescribe a herbal medicine containing a range of herbs to treat your pet’s current problem as well as any other ongoing health needs (most herbal medicines are given orally as tinctures).
